A Small Issue With The LNER Gresley Coaches In Trainz 2019

Hey, everyone! Recently, I've noticed an issue with the LNER Gresley 61'6 coaches where I place them down in Surveyor Mode but when I go to edit their properties, it says, "Error: PropertyBrowserRefresh() not handled. A script error occurred while attempting to edit the properties of this asset."

I'll list the KUIDs for the coaches to give you guys an idea of what I'm talking about.

<kuid2:122285:654:5> (LNER Gresley 61'6 First)

<kuid2:122285:650:5> (LNER Gresley 61'6 Brake Third)

<kuid2:122285:653:5> (LNER Gresley 61'6 Buffet)

<kuid2:122285:652:5> (LNER Gresley 61'6 Composite)

<kuid2:122285:654:5> (LNER Gresley 61'6 Full Brake)

<kuid2:122285:655:5> (LNER Gresley 61'6 Third)

Now, I would like to say that no errors or warnings appear when I check the coaches themselves so I'm not sure what the issue is. I've tried to do a database repair a few times but that also doesn't seem to do anything. What can I do to fix this?

These use superscript which has problems. There are new versions which work available on the DLS.

Thank you for your input! I have the most recently updated versions of the coaches but if it is the superscript that is the issue, I would like to know if there's a way to fix it.

If you have the latest versions they should work fine they have been converted from superscript.

KUID2:122285:654:7 is one of them.

The CRG repaired them using WagonX by Dundun92 to replace Superscript. Unfortunately, they had to be made TB 5.0 (TRS19 SP5).

Indeed. Have you installed SP5 for TRS19? (I think it should take you up to Build 117009.) WagonX has revitalised these coaches and I hope to revitalise the textures!

Unfortunately the CRG’s remit doesn’t allow that..
Thanks Paul. Interesting that the CRG will upgrade scripts to meet current requirements but not textures. Andi made extensive use of m.reflect materials in these coaches (and other assets); quite advanced for 2007 and TRS2006! But likely to produce a silvery appearance in TRS2022 and therefore essentially unusable. So why not enable upgrading of the textures to tbumpenv so these assets are fully 'repaired' in TRS22 and then release them under the aegis of the CRG? That way, we can enjoy these great assets for some years to come.

Technically, we are only supposed to repair "faulty" assets and by that I mean those assets on the CRG's faulty list. As of a few minutes ago they were some 26,791 assets on that list. We sometimes ask N3V to add assets to the list where the assets isn't behaving as expected but still gets through validation.

Scripted assets that fail the script library changes introduced by TRS19 probably account for about 15,000 of those. They only continue to work if the the compatibility mode is on which it is by default.

I remain unconvinced that repairing materials is within the principles set by the CRG's Charter para 6. Andi's carriages were repaired by me and independently tested by another CRG member. While the materials and textures look "old" they still look OK to me and the tester didn't mention problems of this nature. I did look at one of the Pullmans and much of the detail is kind of TRS04/06 vintage. Perhaps they could be remade but I doubt if Andi's original meshes could be used. If I were doing it I would not. I would also make them with PBR materials.

Perhaps I should mention that I frequently repair materials for CRG repairs using IMEditor. This is only to correct material conflicts and the material type is not changed.

Always happy to discuss the CRG activities but this is getting off topic for this thread.

Sorry to revive this thread but I have not been able to figure out a way to fix these coaches. Could one of you possibly explain the solution to me in simpler terms so that my young brain can understand what to do? I still haven't fully grasped all of the advanced concepts of the game (although I am slowly getting there).
