A show of appreciation to Tony and all the N3V staff

Malc - the untrained soldiers were sent up the mountain with an impossible schedule and very few munitions. The General, not the soldiers, plotted the charge and managed its execution. The workers are indeed seeing a nasty reception for their efforts. It is not their fault and I do not recall any negativity directed at them. However, neither was there much definition. Any blame at this stage is pointless as is any anger although some retain it. Even those calling for calm exhibit some level of anger.

My concern is not with the mental health of the workers. They have come this far and should be able to go the distance. Our concern should lie with the commercial viability of the product. Some damage undoubtedly has been done to the potential customer base. As always you never know the degree.

I am unwilling to join in any thanksgiving until I see progress, which has been lacking for many weeks. There are two major stages that are about to begin. The HotFix should take a few gremlins off the deck and the Update should continue that with some "goodies" added. Once we have successfully transitioned those two hurdles my applause may be forthcoming. For now I just keep on with T:ANE dreading another possible massive database update that takes out a lot of work. Maybe at that point I charge down the hill, commit social suicide, and hope that Old Soldiers Never Die, They Just Fade Away.

TrainTech1350--Mostly Inactive.... only been here since 2013 and is "Mostly Inactive" so he/she hasn't been through the thick and thin like the rest of us old timers, and stuck with it.

Bill.... (Willem2)... glad to see you're still lurking about!

I thank N3V also. I may have said a thing or two negatively, and shouldn't have, but all in all I really love this game and appreciate the N3V team. It's made my retirement a lot of fun.

How about a bit of appreciation for content creators? Some mountain climbing for these people to upgrade their assets to N3V's "standards". Another mountain for them to create new assets.

If it wasn't for Trainz, I would have gone nuts with boredom when I was laid up with a few medical issues. Plus I get to satisfy my train habit! Thank you N3V for all that you all have done to make this Train Simulator the best. -Robert-
P.S. You all still have a few bugs to fix on T:ANE, but I still think it's the best Trainz to date. :)

I just wanted to give a show of appreciation to Tony, and all the N3V, (and past Auran) staff.

I don't know where I would be without Trainz.

And I wish N3V a long Company lifetime, and hope that T:ANE is a product that lasts for many more decades.

All the N3V bashing and complaints, must dishearten the N3V staff, so I just wanted to show my appreciation to N3V.

If anyone has anything negative to say about N3V ... please do not post complaints here ... and please exit this thread.

:mop:
A big thank you from me as well.

Thanks to N3V. I was so glad when I discovered Trainz. To quote "A kid's guide to the internet": Now I rarely want to do anything else! :hehe:

I want to agree with the sentiments of this thread. I have really enjoyed TANE - good frame rates, hardly any stutters cf TRAINZ12 and for me, on the whole, it is stable. It can only get better. I've been with TRAINZ since the very beginning and seen all the developments. TS2004 & 2006 needed quite a few SP's till they got it right. TANE will no doubt be the same. It's never really finished! I can quite understand Trainzers with a problem reporting the issue, perhaps saying that they will stick with TS12 till issues are sorted. What I can't accept and really annoys me are the negative comments and titles such as 'Trainz is horrible' as was posted a few days ago. This is just not true. I think this must be disheartening and insulting to the staff and developers. I believe they are doing their best within their resources to make it the best - and it will be. Let's report issues/problems in an objective and non inflammatory manner. And let's keep a sense of proportion - the world has some far greater problems than Trainz hiccups!!
