Hi all! I'd like to know if there is a place where I could find a complete list of the interactive industries and the goods they need and produce for TS2010:EE?

I have found some of them in surveyor but I'm missing some too as I have yet to find a producer and/or consumer for some of the goods they produce and/or consume.

Have a nice day!

Capharnaum,

First, Welcome to Trainz. I hope you enjoy your time with the community and simulator.

I seriously doubt that such a list of industries exists, as the number of different industries, and the products they use, in Trainz would easily number in the 1000's.

If you are having trouble finding places to consume/produce products for your route, your best bet would be to use the Multiple Industry New, which should be built-in to 2010. This is a fairly versatile industry track that can be configured to produce/consume any product. If you have the product to ship, and the car to ship it in, the multi-industry will take it. It takes time to understand how it works, but is well worth it, for the versatility that it brings to a route.

The way to use these is to find the building(s) that suit the facility you need, than place the track in the appropriate spot to load/unload cars at the facility. There are several variations on the DLS, of differing lengths, to suit what your industry needs.

Another way to find industries and rolling stock that carry products is to open CM and set Search to Category - Commodity + Location - Local to list all products available on your system. Then select a product you want to use and right click and select View Dependent Assets to get a list of industries and railcars that are set up to handle it.

Finding Industries

Hi Capharnaum - A hearty welcome. I haven't bought my TS2010 yet but have TRS2004 so I don't know what industries are built in.

If you go onto www.trainzproroutes.org TPR download depot you will find work by Lars, the author of a suite of industries and products. Look under the headings L.A.R.S and Products.

Hope this help organise the basic industries (BI and BI2).

Enjoy the ride.
