A few Questions

I have these signals im trying to use i have a few set already and they work fine but there is just one that is being difficult. Im using signal BR04 (thats what there called in TRS) and the particular junction when in surveyor i place a train or rolling stock infront of it to see if its working but it cycles throguth the diff colours (red, green, orange) but the other ones stay green, red or orange, then in driver the light stays red and wont change even if the juction is switched.

Now my second one is i have a 100Klm sing on the track but the train only goes 50/60klms. Before you start revving me have used the search button to try and find the problems listed, tried to think of everything i could but im tired and my mind is out of it.

Cheers,

Hmmm - sound to me, that there is not another signal on either the mainline or the branch, hence why in 'surveyor' it cycles through the signal states and in driver, it defaults (as it should) to automatic stop. You will need signals on both the mainline and the turnout track, for the signal to show the correct aspect.

As for the single line working, this has been a known issue with we route builders for many years. As single line working, instead of the signals being 'blocks' and a train occupying said 'block', now, it is from one junction to the next. if there is an extensive distance between junctions, and the track along this section is un-signaled (as bi-directional single line running signaling will not work) the AI will default to its 'inbuilt' default, which is half speed for that section.

If you right click on the "head" of the signal it will show a message telling you what the problem is.Usually it"ll be "The Line anhead is Unsignalled".EITHER you have a set of Points lying "reverse" in front of the signal (so it can"t see the track ahead) or the track between junction protected by the signal and the NEXT junction has no signal.Try placing a Signal Invisible on the track ahead.
