Hi,
I've been asked by someone to create a steam train for them, and while I'm not too bad at modelling, the actual layout of the model for Trainz is proving difficult to find new tutorials for.
I was therefore wondering if someone who has created a steam train for TS2009 or even TS2010 would be willing to provide it in its raw state, so that I might have a look and see for example, how many materials we're allowed per item, which items have to be combined, which need to be seperate for the animations, what kind of maps we can use (specular, normal, alpha etc) and so forth.
If anyone would be willing to provide one, then could you upload it somewhere for me in .obj, .3ds or .fbx format? or if anyone knows of any websites that I've failed to find with such an example model on them, or a really good, clear up to date tutorial that'd be great.
Thanks for any assistance,
Chief
