Ex-ATSF #3751 is leading another excursion to San Diego from LA Saturday, and return trip from San Diego back to LA on Sunday! The train will consist the steam locomotive, (possibly) a Amtrak P42, the Canadian Pacific Pony Express Baggage Car, Amtrak Amfleet and Horizon coaches, and two vista dome private cars (California Zephyr Silver Lariat and Silver Solarium). The Rio Grande Scenic Great Dome and the Silver Splendor are also on the train as well. For those of you who are in SoCal and want to catch this rare sighting, get to the Surfline between 9:50am and 3:00pm Saturday and 10:40am to 4:00pm Sunday.
