3-way crossing between Frisco's Ft.Scott, KS.-Afton, OK., Pierce City, MO.-Wichita, K

Rare 3-way crossing between Frisco's Ft.Scott, KS.-Afton, OK., Pierce City, MO.-Wichita, KS. lines and MKT. It was the only one in the US and parts for it had to be made in Europe. On display with caboose #1701 in a Columbus, KS. park.

On display with caboose, that means pic was taken from back porch.

Almost looks completely narrow gauge!

You think thats a nightmare - think about re-creating it in HO or O scale. The wiring to keep things straight would drive you insane, lol.

Many (and I really mean many) years agom I made a 5 way stub switch in On3 just to seee if I could. It worked but I never could figure out how to wire it. Ah the silly things we do when young, lol.

No pics after 50 years, lol. Insulating it is the problem. Too darn many rails crossing rails of the opposite polarity (frogs).
