I am fine with the current post that you made.
You may keep that one as a Screenshot of the Week entry with no objection from any of us and no point deduction as far as I'm concerned.
If John asks that Competition Contestants not post their competition work in the future, then I ask that the contestants please respect that rule.

Week 2
The Week 2 round of screenshots are now due folks. Once again, an aerial view of the area you're currently working on. No finished stuff please, so if you've already finished your route, you'll have to dig into the photo archives.
Please email me your screenshots within the next 48hours. Did I say email me? Yes I did. Please read my post above. People have asked me to open up the Gallery so that they can add extra photos. As I won't know which is what, please upload the photo to the gallery and post it to me also. For those of you not using the gallery, just continue emailing the photos like you did last time.
All competitors are producing some pretty amazing stuff. Even though we're only at the second furlong, we're in for a very close finish.
Unfortunately several members didn't submit screenshots for week one, so they've all managed to lose 5 bonus points. As the Christmas period was probably not the best time to kick off the competition, we'll bend the rules a little this time only and give back those bonus points if those people on the list below submit two different screenshots this time round only.
If you're on the list and you insist you've sent the screenshots already, please email me and let me know.

Please don't PM me under any circumstances. I know I initally said that PM's were okay, but I'm being inundated with them. They are slowing me down so much, it's taking me a couple of hours a day to answer them.

Why PM's are not on:
- My inbox is constantly full and your PM may be rejected by the system.
- I have to access the forum just to answer a single PM.
- Due to my shocking Internet speeds, plus the fact that I'm disconnected every two minutes some days (thank you Vodafone), it can take 10 minutes or more just to gain access.
- I have an email account and I'd like you to use it.
- I like to keep records. Unfortunately I have to empty my PM box three times a week.
- It's more convenient to all of us.

This is still going on right? I haven't seen the site update at all lately, and I haven't gotten a reply about my last two screens that I sent to you John. Just wondering what is up.
Come on Jade Bullet, give us a break. I f you looked at the Web site gallery you would see that your second last screen shot has been entered. Your last one which I think I received two days ago will be added as soon as: (a) I get my new computer sorted out (b) get my mobile internet connection sorted out after having disconnected me over 300 times in the past 3 days.
I haven't updated the forum recently because the above and because I currently see it as a low priority. I get the impression that most of the 'non starters' aren't reading it anyway and the active competitors don't need to. I will attend to your last screenshot as soon as I can maintain a stable connection.

Sorry man. I didn't mean to come off so impatient and such. I should have worded my post a little better. I figured that you probably had other things going on at the moment. I was just checking, I didn't mean to offend you, and I do see what you mean update wise. All of my college work must be getting to me, I can't read do dates right lol.

Hi folks, the 2010 Route Building Competition officially closed at midnight on the 3rd of May and all competitors have been notified (twice) by email. Of the thirty members who kicked off, many have pulled out for one reason or the other. I thought at least 6 were still in the race, but despite my requests for submissions, only three people have come forward:

Sorry to keep you waiting, I sent you an email not 10 Min. before you posted this. As I said in the letter, I've been fighting a few health problems so its been hard for me.
Screens are submitted and sent, route finnished and pretty darn good looking (If I do say so myself:hehe: ). If you need anything from me just ask, I would be happy to assist in any means necesary.

Okay sounds good. I didn't mean to sound impatient. I figured that it was just a matter of you being busy. I have been busy at work myself, and was just making sure that I didn't miss it.
