2009 Route Building Competion.

All judges or just one? I think it's a MUCH better idea to put the here, so everyone can see. Plus you have a 50 message limit, and that would fill up pretty quickly like this, so I recommend just putting them here.

I can't understand what everybody's problem is!
You complain when we ask that you put the shots here, so I say that you put them in a multi-user PM, then you don't understand that..how hard is that to understand?! Really!
Fine post them here.
Shots enetered after Nov. 1st don't count. take it or leave it.

A-OKAAY.

Wasn't sure on which I should post, so here are 5.
Switching yard for the East Sussex Railway
Trailors and Boxers awaiting pick up for West Sussex.
Logging flats sit at the West Sussex station awaiting pick up by twin work locomotives.

Looking down the main line towards East Sussex, a loco pulls a light load out of the yard bound for the port.
The loco passes through the yard office and onto the main line.

It's because people don't wana take that little effort to send it to the Judges. I'm still in, and will be in, my screenshots will start on the 1st. If ya'll don't like it, leave, don't even bother, but don't take up space bashing it.

Evan,
Thanks for getting it rolling!
That is all we are asking for right there, so let Evan's post be an example.

Ryan,
Thank You for that!

Cheers,
Woody

Notice,
You will need to send the same five screenshots to all judges by July 1st, this will begin the monthly process of sending 5 different screenshots to all judges each month.
When sending screenshots, make a multi-member private message with 5 screenshots.
The next month do the same, however the 5 shots must be different than the previous five.

Thank You,
Contest Crew.

My screenshots of my new 2009 route are all posted in the Buckingham Branch railroad thread. Take you pick.

I would love to enter, but I had to have C drive slicked due to a windows screw up, and, unfortunetly, I was unable to back up my 33 GIGABYTES of trainz content, and, without an FCT, I will likely never be able to recover a large portion of what was lost (some of which is TRUELY unreplaceable, sites with the content dieing, rare payware-turned-freeware items, not-openly-distributed items, and beta content to name some), dont get me wrong though, IF I manage to get enough content redownloaded, and get a half respectable route setup, I will edit this post to say im in.
*sorry for waffling/whining/hijacking  :p

Illinois Central in the 1960's

THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL (from Champaign, Illinois to Centralia, Illinois)

I'll be entering my "Illinois Central" layout in this contest. It's a prototype of the IC line in the late 1960's to early 70's just prior to Amtrak's takeover of passenger service. The layout covers the line between Champaign-Urbana and Centralia. Eventually I'd like to extend it to include the Peoria branch and take the line all the way north to Markham Yard south of Chicago.

Hopefully these five screenies will do for now.
It's a big work in progress but it ought be done by December. I always wanted to do the IC in model form.
My late grandfather (who knew many of the IC workers at the yard) let me "drive" an IC Sw7 at Chamgaign yard in 1967! That was a big thrill for a six year old boy!

So I'm recreating that period here!

Here are some early screenies:
