Hi all creators
is there any out there who could build a kind of car who would have
in one end a European coupler
and a us au coupler in the other end
why
so if you have a goods car from Russia arriving in a EU country you can
with that special car still couple on to that car
kind regards

Hi, guys.

The problem is not only about 'couplings', it's about 'buffers and screw' . It would be unrealistic to couple a Russian wagon or carriage without buffers to a 'EU' one with buffers. Dangerous situation, indeed.

Yes, John, the solution would have to be 'scripted' to choose different attached meshes according to the coupling and buffering system required. IMHO, some kind of the missed Andi's superscript spoilt by the latest versions of Trainz. Yes, we missed Andi a lot.

The buffered side of Alberte :D

Dangerous yes, but in Australia they have or had both systems and locomotives and wagons with both coupling systems on them. Here in the US, Mexico, and Canada, we use the same Janny couplers (aka knuckle couplers), so there's no worries about connections. In the olden days, locomotives had knuckle couplers with slots in them to take the chains (links) so they could connect up those wagons as well as the knuckle type wagons using pins. One of the issues then was coupler heights as well as the difference between link and pin and knuckle couplers. There are some locomotives that had knuckle couplers with slots in them to support various heights of link and pin coupling.
