I agree with Auran on not supporting very old versions of Trainz, but if this had happened 12 months ago I wouldn't have.
It's only because I find TS2010 the first version worth having since TRS2004, so a year ago I would have still been using TRS2004.
For those who don't want to upgrade from TRS2004 (and it's your right not to), then don't.
Upload your assets to TPR, as well as your own webspace.
I've already started uploading all my previous assets to TPR, and my new content will be uploaded to TPR before the DLS because of how unreliable the DLS is.
If I decide to release some content to TRS2004 standards and the DLS won't accept it because of that, then fine, it will be uploaded elsewhere.
The DLS is not as important to Trainz as it was back in the day IMO, and as long as you upload to a reputable site that's not going to disappear within months, then there's no reason why you have to worry about your content.
As for removing older versions of Trainz from the online store, again, I can understand them doing that.
What I find amusing is that a great piece of software like TRS2004 is no longer for sale, but the laughable Cabon something or other is still on there! LOL
Smiley.
