Not to be *gimmiegimmie*
But what platform are you(Hert) & PerRock using, they look good.
Or are they non public.

They are on the DLS sorry i dont remember the exact name of them.

What are thE 3D buildings in the first row down the Street Hert??

Jamie

Believe or not they are built-in to TS12. Search "Downtown Building". I wish N3V would include more buildings like these as they are very nice 3D buildings.

Does this look 1930s?

I've got a question for you guys: Does this industrial section I'm adding to my route appear to be from the 1930s?

A well i mentioned i a few topics my own route i was working on, a fictional route wich slighty resembles the Swartchwald (black forrest) southern germany, by mood mostly..

A small coal too barge river port, with rotating car dumper on SG track and a NG3 track coal loader for the steam NG logging line, and a barge loader.

And old and abandoned minepit (too cover a allmost rollercoaster climb, for a test wich turned out rather fun too take in a NG steamer, so brushed it a bit up, and still need too make it look more like a old overflown pit)

GTW Mt. Clemens Sub

This route originated in TS06, then it got corrupted. I restarted it in TS10, then imported it into TS12 (lots of bugs still in the route), so it is being recreated. I sure wish TrainzMap would come about for TS12 to replace old track assets!

Again the real one looking west north west. Charlie Whipp photo.

I am hoping the route will be done in September. I'll upload it and any custom content to my site when ready. It will be over 60 scale miles from Detroit to Port Huron. Covering trackage of the PH&D, GTW, C&O (PM / CSX), Conrail, and parts of the GTW Romeo Sub, Holly Sub (Milwaukee Jct. and East Yard), Pere Marquette Boat Yard (Port Huron), and many industries along the way. Michigan is flat in this area so terrain is fairly simple... farms, farms, and small towns (other than the metro Detroit area). Mt Clemens yard, New Haven Foundry, Richmond yard / wye, Selfridge ANGB, and other routes (like the long abandoned PM Almont Branch) will be done in some scale on this route.

Many buildings will be placed in their locations and reskins from the actual building will be done at times. Google Earth, Topo maps, aerial images, and personal recollections / photos were used in this route creation.

Looks good Dan. I have a soft spot for GTW for some reason. :)

It's not possible to use the replace function for track objects right? I know you can replace track but just wondering...

I have been unable to replace any track with another in TS 12. TrainzMap had a great function in TS06 with that option. You could change out the track on a whole map when someone created better track. now you have to delete, then drag and draw... time consuming! Especially when it is a large route!

Thanks for the kudo... GTW lives!

That's very strange. I have done that on several occasions in 2010. Perhaps someone here with 2012 and who has done this successfully can chip in?

YW for the kudos. Keep the great shots coming!

I have no trouble at all using the "Replace Assets" tool to replace one track with another in TS12.

Cheers,

Dave
