Trainz loading problem

I have a strange problem. Starting up Trainz TS2010 there was a warning that Trainz had encountered a problem, however it started but proceeded to go through the diagnostics and then started but the screen is 3/4" deep , full width. How do I resolve this.
Come on Shane I hope you have solved this before.

Hi Ken,

I've just noticed your thread as I've also been dealing with another one.

I would suggest two things:

Firstly, check what resolution your version is running in the Trainz Options box.

Secondly, I'd advise that you run a database repair.

Trainz had reset the screen size to 1024x768.

Beat you to it Shane but how do you hide the top bar that tells you Trainz ( number) is this the framerate in surveyor.

Easiest way of doing that is to run Trainz in fullscreen mode - the tickbox for that is in the same place as the resolution settings.

That was too easy - the fullscreen had become unticked.
I've had both of these problems before but couldn't for the life of me remember how I'd solved them so I needed your inspiration.
