!!!HELP!!! How do i get TRAINZ2010 to run in Vista????

Had no trouble loading TRAINZ2010 added the assets. Hit the start button to run TRAINZ pop up menue come's up "Microsoft Windows-TRAINZ has stopped working. If anybody can fix my problem, I will give you the Empire State Bldg. If you know what the problem is. lead me step by step to fix the problem. Most people are not having problems with Vista. Do i have to set something in Vista to make it work

Try running as Administrator?

Delete Vista, Get Windows 7
Seriously though, try running as admin
Press start, find control panel and then user accounts and either edit or create new.

Hi,

Some people have found the following helps:-

Use Widows explorer to find the file "trainzoptions.txt" (it's in the Trainz folder).

Now right click on the file and "Open". this opens the TXT (text) file in Notepad (or whatever it is in Vista).

Add the line
-intro = disable

Type in the "-" and all the text, then Close & save the file.

There is a short animated sequence at start-up - some computers don't like the sequence..
