Sorry mate can't help you there. I'm using TRS2004, don't now about 2006 or Vista. Maybe some-one with more knowledge of 2006 will help you.

Being Vista, it could be a permissions problem (make sure you r-click and "allow" Trainz). Otherwise it could be a database issue - repair the database in Content Manager.

Hello

No Tony he is using TRS2006 not TS2009,:hehe:

Delete the assets.tdx and assets.bku files then let CMP re-built the assets database this might take a while, so leave your PC on, go for a cup of coffee and cake then come back see if it works.

If all fails post your PC spec here and run TrainzDiag.:)

and also make sure:

You need to install TRS2006 as a administrator on Windows Vista then see below:

After you have installed TRS2006 as a administrator on Microsoft Windows Vista:

Right Click the following files in the TRS2006 Directory below and select compatibility tab and tick the small square box ----> Run this program as an Administrator.

TRS2006.exe
ContentManager
CCP
Launcher
Trainz
TrainzDiag
openGLextensions
gsc
gse
TrainzUtil

Ahsan:)

Will the same DB rebuild process apply to 2009?

Hello - I've noticed at least one object missing - the trucks on the built in SD70. I don't know if it was like this prior to SP1 update. Thanks!

If you're referring to Phil_C's L SD70, they are totally busted in TS2009. With or without compatibility mode and with or without SP1, they're busted. No bogeys and all scripts crash.
