Whats changed?

Ive been away quite a while.
Last thing I did was instal sp1 for 2006.
Just want to know whats changed since then and what the most uptodate version is etc.
I will trawl through the forums but a quick synopsis would be nice.
 
Let's see...
  • Forum died from hard disk failure. Came back as Classics forum a little later.
  • Alan, Lance, and Rob have been let go from Auran... (Auran filed for the US equivalent of chapter 11. Only 3 Trainz team members are left.)
  • The latest version of Trainz is Trainz Classics 2.

I want to carry on building my routes that I abandoned.
Whats the best way to get back up to speed.
Is it to buy trainz classic?

Whether you buy Classics or not is up to you. TRS2006 is still fine. I find Classics to be heavily improved over TRS2006. :)
 
TC1 is the Harlem Line.
TC2 is Modula City.

For reasons that still boggle me, Auran put the two in the same package.
