If anyone likes what they see in the route i might just extend it into a full layout.

Hi all.... I've just hopped out of the loco's cab to share with you these pics....
enjoy!

Our train receives right of way.

One of the many 'protected' crossings on the branch.

Rumbling through Woolgarah south.

Notice the once busy freight yard.

Our train arriving at Woolgarah.

I had 10 or so minutes to duck over to Coles and get a Coke.

Departing Woolgarah for Hampton.

Woolgarah returns to the sleepy little hollow it is after the train departs the scene.

There is heavy speed restrictions on this part of the line, a 40km/h restriction was in place when we passed through.

An unprotected crossing near Hampton.

Cheers!
Ausrail.

Around Wooroola...

A 3900 class crosses a small creek back in the day when they pulled more then just coal.

The train passes the few sidings serving a small industrial estate...

and then passes behind a substation on the far side of the estate.

Nice shots there Ausrail

I'll second that, some amazing scenery and texture in those shots!

Also, all the best to David on his day tomorrow, hopefully he spends the day doing things for himself (such as drinking, mooching about and receiving gifts).
