Hi all,
I have seen them made by Bachmann and tyco some railway wagons for transporting water in the 1860's/1870's standard gauge. They are basically flat cars with two or three watertanks on the bed. The tanks appear to be basically just like the watertanks on the right of ways. More recently MTL released one too.
Looking on the web I can not find a prototype of them. I am sure they (Bachmann) took some liberties in their design but sure they had something of a prototype to base them on.
Any ideas , plans or photos of them at all?
