Train vs Car -- Car Loses Big Time

According to a Police report, a husband and wife drove their car thru the crossing just as the gates come down. In a moment of sheer panic, they stop their car in the middle of the tracks. They managed to escape without injuries just in time as their car went to car haven when it made its maker in the form of a Norfolk Southern container train. Captured on June 24th, 2018 in Thomasville, North Carolina.

One can physically lift or force a crossing gate arm ... or with serious windshield, hood, roof damage, one can force their car through a downed crossing gate

a car has no chance with a train if it's left on the middle of the track because trains are much bigger than cars

Dont even get me started with the speed of impact.

Town near me banned the trains from blowing there horns in town. Wonder how long till somebody gets hit by one there?
