Looks great what you've done on additions!

Confession on Pink Storage tanks, they are from Philskene's Harbor Master Route, one of my favorites from the master route modeler!

And I partial to several of his other's too.

A short video of an Amtrak P42 completing a figure 8 on the layout showing previous updates on this thread and aiding those who wanted to see the layout vs. the track plan added previously.....

Side Note: Since this was a preinstalled layout with TMR17 and is considered "Payware" I was unable to modify the vehicle settings on the roads so that they do not run through objects, unfortunately but hopefully
you can get an idea of what the actual route now looks like after I modified it......

Can't you just stop traffic?
Or is that also not possible in a payware route?

The behavior of traffic in any trainz version is as stupid as possible.

very nice to see ... respect for your work ...
(tip: using shift-key when manipulating camera makes movements softer....)

daveric

Unfortunately it is locked and not changeable, same with scenery, you can build over it but not remove it which is how I was able to add to the layout unless of course the space was empty to begin with. Kind of sucks, at least with the original Trainz you could do as you pleased............God forbid anyone else listens to the people who buy their product. Almost like buying a new car and being told you can only drive it on weekdays.....oh well enough of my ranting, guess that's why I have other train sims............to bad, this could have been a top shelf product..............maybe next millennium....

Yo Railhead,

Got a little tip for you.
Maybe you know the asset, maybe not...

Product Attachment
kuid2:526726:100026:2
Author: Vanguard11
On the DLS.

With this cool little asset you can place every product (commodity) in your scenery.

If you use it, you first see a wooden pallet, click on it with the question mark.
That will open a window with "Product (none)"
Click on "none" and chose a product out of the product list.
You can use anything you like.

Perfect to pimp your scenery further more.

One of the coolest little assets around.

:)

Thanks to Richarde57's tip, I am updating some areas with new and improved items such as the following:

Above: Is it office furniture or a new dining room set ?

Above: Using "branded" lumber makes the lumber yard scene more realistic................

Continuing the Lumber Yard theme, I finally got around to detailing it to make it look like the way I wanted it. I added more stacks of lumber, bricks and railroad ties along with a parking area with cars and also added an
additional rear door entrance and window....

So at this time I can say the lumberyard is pretty much completed...

Question for forum readers....Below are the BN/BNSF cabooses I have acquired

I am interested in finding a work caboose such as the model below in BN or BNSF livery, can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Scott Labay (slabay) made some cabooses that are the same, however, there are no BNSF.

His models are done well and you could try your hand a reskinning and come up with a BNSF version for yourself.

<kuid:528206:100222> CP SBW Caboose #422321
<kuid:528206:100212> CO (Chessie) SBW Caboose #3552
<kuid2:528206:100205:1> CSXT SBW Caboose #16632
<kuid:528206:100264> EVWR SBW Caboose #601
<kuid:528206:100220> IHB SBW Caboose #1
<kuid:528206:100270> Mopac SBW Caboose Truck (No Generator)
<kuid2:528206:100272:1> MIRR SBW Caboose #2777
<kuid:528206:100323> MoPac SBW Caboose #7511 (MOW)
<kuid:528206:100186> UP SBW Caboose #13737
<kuid:528206:100194> PC SBW Caboose #18078
<kuid:528206:100208> SP SBW Caboose #18078
<kuid:528206:100286> UB Transfer Caboose #81 BETA

And many more probably.

Edit:

Found this one here by modeltrains:

<kuid:532427:100323> BN transfer caboose

This should fit the bill exactly without needing to reskin.
