It is rather appealing! That looks like a relatively recent photo and I'm curious where the orange glow came from.

One of the kids on the right of the Bournemouth station shot could have been me in the 50's except I don't recall ever going to Bournemouth. Though I do have 30105 (an M7) underlined in my locospotters book so I must have seen it somewhere.

Good Lord. That sure took awhile, but, thank you for the tutorial. Here's what I got after the first shot. It's kind of difficult to make out, but fans of late 70's american television should get a kick out of the running numbers on the SD80

Sorry I did not reply sooner I did not get an email telling me someone had posted until Maruffjd posted.

Glad you like the screens.

I've got another one of the Swanage signal box.

You've mastered it; well done. I'm afraid with my aging eyes I can't make out the numbers though, do you care to enlighten us? Thanks for reading and commenting!:)

That shot is very impressive, I'd say you have graduated from the course, well done indeed. I like how you've chosen a night time image to make the buttons stand out, and the picture is just stunning, especially with the train approaching.
I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's situation. I lost my mother a year ago, and it's a very painful process. I'm not saying yours won't recover, but the emotions are similar. I'll add her to my prayer list, and you as well.

Hi Ed thank-you for your kind words it's made even harder with the passing of my Grandmother at the start of the year.

I shall be back some when and I shall keep an eye on the forum.

I'm just fishing up my speed signs class 205 & 207 to get them out of way and to clear my work bench.

Cheers Rusty.

Like I originally said, the numbers didn't come out as clearly as I hoped. For those of you interested, I numbered the SD80MAC 4077. I guess the F40 doesn't want to show her numbers, that was supposed to be 8063. (For the TRAINZERS, I know it's supposed to be three digits, but I wanted it for the splash screen.)
