Kris,
As I've said before, but obviously you never seem to read or respond to us when we ask for details regarding your problem. All you do is go off on your tirade on the forums complaining about the problem that we are willing to help you with. You act like my 2 year-old nephew going around having a tantrum looking for attention!
We are a very helpful community here and a polite one at that. Shouting will only get you added to everyone's ignore list, which I'm sure you won't want because then you'll never receive any help from anyone even if you ask politely in the future.
Unless you can tell us exactly what the specifications are of your hardware, network connection, type of firewall, etc. Then there's no way we can help you. We don't live down the street, and besides if you act this way on the forums, I'm not sure we would want to visit you anyway!
Now Zec is right. They have done their part. Yes, there was a problem yesterday, and it appears the problem has been resolved. Techical support, even by in-house staff, is very expensive on a weekend. I'm sure Australia has similar labor laws that require over-time pay after 40 hours, and probably double or triple time pay on Sundays and holidays.
Now if you've had problems downloading for 5-months, then as Zec says, you obviously don't have a FCT, which would give you full access to the DLS without any speed issues.
Your graphics issues are related to your machine. In your tirade here, with all the CAPS ON which is a no-no on the forums, you elude to having built-in video. Built-in video rarely works well, and in fact it is not recommended by Auran for Trainz. Without going into too many technical details you won't care to read anyway, built-in video circuits steal resources from the rest of the system for operation, and also do not have the horsepower for real operation, which is required by all versions of Trainz.
The built-in video is great for surfing the web and viewing pictures, but that's about it. On my work laptop, it works great for running user asset reports, and new-hire reports, accessing My Oracle resources, the CRM, and other business tools, but as far as playing a lot of streaming video or any games, forget about it.
Have patience, tell us the details, and perhaps we can make helpful recommendations. Screeming like a 2 year-old will get you no where fast.
John
