Thanks, anyone is more than welcome to post more. Especially *caps and limits* per month on downloads, which seem to particularly interesting.

The low caps really astonish me, like yours, Don. 5 Gb isn't diddly, especially if you take streaming media into account. That's on par with what smartphone plans get, and that isn't much; That's a bit more than one, single-layer DVD. As you can tell, 15Gb isn't all that much better. But, I'm certainly interested in hearing more.

It raised bloody murder when Comcast imposed a 250Gb per month cap; one which was loosely adhered to. Most other ISPs, AFAIK, don't have caps on downloads.

I got 2553Kbs Up and 315Kbs Down. We're on the fastest we can get here from Pacifica.

We're on a 'local' ISP - Coastside.net which is unlimited (but it runs over AT&T wires). I haven't yet seen any throttling or other limiting. Slightly more costly than AT&T but nicer people and helpful too.

Not great considering I had 20Mb when I was in the UK on Virginmedia (and the option of 100Mb with 200Mb being tested at the time).

Ah well, such is the fun of life.

Sheesh I'm hard done by. I only get 150KBS and that,s with a perth company.(westnet) I think I'll go live with ed. ED hey ED!!
