You download content, it shows up in CMP, then what?

Please, please tell me how to install it in the game (Trainz 2006).

I looked in the manual but don't see an explanation.

Parenthetically, how can something so basic not be explained in the manual?

it depends on how you d/l that object.. did you use cmp to d/l or did you
use ftp......if d/l useing ftp. then go to that dir where you saved it and click on that object, it should open cmp up go to open for edit, click on that object that it is listed then ctrl m to commit it,,, if you d/l from cmp it should
install it and you should see it

The TRS2006 manual explains Surveyor in Chapter 10 and CMP in Chapter 17. For example, sec. 10.4.7 (pg 55) tells you how to put a loco and cars on a track in a route using Surveyor.

if your running pre SP1 TRS06 you need to commit items downloaded using CMP as well.

Also in your CMP settings you can tell CMP to Automatically commit items.
