Welcome to Trainz - maybe. 3 step guide to Trainz for newcomers;
Step 1; https://www.auran.com/planetauran/SN_Enter_Serialnumber.php
Find your serial number, register your game. Important step, first step, don't skip it.
This guy is showing TS2010 and TS12 in his "Station Stops" next to his name, so whatever he wants to know I'm willing to try to help if I can.
This bozo has nothing showing in his station stops, indicating he's either too hopelessly retarded to figure out the registration or he's a pirate playing with a crack warez version of the game. Either way I have zero interest in trying to help with anything other than getting a legal registered copy of the game, if he can't do that he's either a thief or too stupid to play computer games anyway.
Step 2; Patch the game. http://forums.auran.com/trainz/show...e-Can-I-patch-my-version-(TS2009-TS2010-TS12)
Need help figuring that out AND YOU HAVE A LEGAL REGISTERED COPY SHOWING (Don't skip step 1!) ask for help and ye shall receive.
Step 3; Play with the game. The one you have installed. It has routes, it has trains, it has sessions that are all built in, no need to buy or download anything else, play with what you have.
How long? It depends, if you're coming from one of the other train simulators AND are experienced and competent managing files for addons, a week should be enough. If you're new to computer games in general and have zero previous experience downloading and installing addons for computer games, you better give it at least a month before you try any kind of DLC or download. That's the number one cause of grief for newcomers, going headfirst off the high dive into the deep end instead of learning basic swimming at the shallow end is guaranteed to give you problems.
