Yet another FCT problem (Finally a post after problem unresolved)

Hello everyone,
Searched the forum and tried suggested solutions but in vain.
I purchased First class ticket and successfully activated it 2 days ago. When using Content manager, the speed however fluctuates around 10-12kbps only. Some times it goes up to 20kbps only. However downloading via FTP is faster (40kbps, which is like maximum for my 384kbps connection). Its almost 48 hours now. Yesterday, I submited a ticket to auran also, but no answers until now.
Plz help me.

What I already tried:
-Removed my UN and pass from content manager, cleared my download list and re wrote my passwords and UN
-Extended Repaired the database
-Experimented with various proxy settings (no proxy, use internet explorer settings)
 
Clear download wish list first ... then all the rest, again.

Edit Profile/PW at Planet Auran, and save both the Profile/PW.

Planet Auran/Tickets ... Press "ACTIVATE" ticket.
 
Someone plz help. Problem not resolved still.

Sometimes a PW reset will take 24 hours to take effect, other times not.

Could you run the network diagnostics in Content Manager for us and post the results? That would be very helpful in troubleshooting your problem.

At Planet Auran, Edit your PW ... making no changes ... SAVE

At Planet Auran, Edit your Profile ... making no changes ... SAVE

In your DLH delete all your download wish list ... again

Please try all the blanking out of the UN & PW in both the IN Game/Options ... as well as in the CM/CMP/Options ... again ... SAVE as blanked out ... close down Trainz

Go back and IN Game/Options re-enter you UN & PW ... SAVE ... Close down Trainz, again

Re-open Trainz ... And too in the CM/CMP/Options re-enter you UN & PW ... Save ... Close Down Trainz, again

After @ 10 min (or overnight) Restart Trainz CM/CMP to see if you can download.

It must be the specific order of the operation, that is not fixing the problem

I hate to be redundant and to keep telling you the same thing, that you already have tried previously, with no luck ... but keep trying ... It should work.

In "settings"/internet, does the correct information on the number of days left to download appear? Even though I have a lifetime ticket I still get days when it defaults to the 100meg limit and it takes many atttempts and password changes to get it working properly again. I think you just have to keep trying, frustrating though it is.

Presumably you have made sure all the Auran/NV3 programs, Taedemon etc., have access through any firewall you have?

Be patient with the "Helpdesk", it's generally only one person....

I have issues with FCTs I had several at once the help desk locked one and now despite contacting them they have not unlocked it so annoying as now my old one has expired.:n:
