www.trainzclassics.co.uk - Mystery diesel #1 revealed!

Just a quick question as I am not sure how this all works. But will the owners of the US version of TC be able to download the content of the British version when it becomes available?

Thanks,
LouP

Owners of TC1/2 will have to buy TC3. Separate product.

To be brutally honest ...

This is the reason I'm getting back into Trainz, and now with Mikes excellent "We're making the best Trainz yet" quote, I'm just itching to get my hands on a copy !

Just waiting to see what #2 is ...

Gangsta.

P.S Yes, the gap was there to make you think im gonna moan :p

Are there plans to market this Trainz product in the US, or will it be strictly a UK and Europe thing. This particular Classics seems to have everything I would want.

Curious as to what the Mystery Steam Loco will be, as well as the mystery passenger car (...thinks back to his British Rail history...)
Hmmmmm I wonder what it could be. :p:hehe:

Great stuff!

The aim is to achieve global domination in order to... *cough* ...

No, wait! ... that's my other project.

But seriously, I fully expect the release will not be limited to the UK and Europe and should be "available at all good Trainz resellers everywhere". (and from the Auran shop).

Actually I was going to suggest to Mike that we run a 'guess the poly count' competition for the Class 40... a slight hint, it's less than you think.

The 'new feature' of couplers on the bogies has nothing to do with new code in TC3, I had it working in TRS2004.

I think we should continue this theme. I'll go for ~9,000-~12,000, at the detailed end of the LOD spectrum. This is taking into account the fact that if nothing else it has to work on so many different machines. Am I close, or miles away? It certainly looks good, and I think that the RS team are certainly capable of 'bluffing' detail using clever textures rather than stupid numbers of polys.

Mike.
http://www.misspelled-signs.com/ ? Is this a cunning (Blackadder-esque weasels in wetsuits level of cunning) front for some heinous and villainous plot to hand out punishment to those who severely abuse the English language?
