Hi guys.

I have several Google alerts set up, and one of them is for the word "Auran" to allow me to keep up to date with things.
The problem with Google alerts is that they sometimes flag things that happened months or even years ago, and today this one was flagged.

3 posts made by a certain Mr Banks in the year 2000, spreading the word of the in-progress Trainz version 1.

Just thought I'd share a little bit of Trainz history with you.

This brings back some memories. I vaguely remember the early Auran pages. When I came across them, I was running MSTS 1 with lots of bugs. During a web search one day, I came across the early Auran forums. They were an interesting read back then, and I waited and debated on whether to invest in the "new program" because I had just purchased MSTS at the time.
