Worse Railroad Paint Schemes

yeah, hey now what about the 4501 that looked good in green, gold, red and silver and they should have kept it that way,its too bad they changed her to wear black in her days of hauling freight, I just don't think the 4501 should be wearing black, not all steam locos were painted into that color, some were colorful instead of dull!:(
If only you knew....

By vomitbonnet you must mean the green and orange thing they have going on? I'm not too fond of that either, but the BN green and black was really nice as long as it didn't have tiger stripes.

I mean the one back in post 6. The BN tiger stripes were interesting, added variety.

Personally, I hate the GS4's design. I think that it is an ugly steamer, but in my opinion, it used to look good when they were painted black. They were classy.

But hey, at least they weren't painted in the Southern Pacific "Popsicle paint"

Yeah, I never liked the GS4 either, neither the paint or the "streamlining". Especially that weird two headlight front end. Bleh!

Those TE70s are cool, but not in that paint. U25Bs are always cool in my book. Those rebuilds are a little like GP30s above the cab.

Yes, we need a cf7 locomotive in trainz... it has a face only a mother could love, but I love them regardless.;)

cheers

This Takes the cake.

Ugly Diseaseal combined with a horrendous paint scheme. But do visit the EBT, it is a Great Narrow Gauge Railroad stuck in the 1930's with all original equipment, and a maintainace shop with equipment, and belt driven systems that dates back to the civil war!

. . . Penn Central barf Green . . .
Which green, locomotive, freight car or passenger?
I like the black PRR and PC locos . . .
I have to mention PRR locomotives were never black, they look black but were never actually black. Depending on who you ask, they were either Brunswick Green or DGLE. When PC took over, some PRR engines kept this color. Looks black when applied but over time fades to green.

Anything with black is bad because I believe it was overdone. Too many railroads switched to black, they had nice paint already they could have kept using. I just like variety, makes a railroad stand out.

VMV will run anything.

And some who do not like the new one.

What kind of loco is that?

I haven't decided if it's ugly or not, but very weird regardless.
RRSignal, that is a GE BQ23-7, built only for the Seaboard Coast Line. They were numbers 5130-5139. I have one in HO scale, in my opinion it is a unique engine and looks cool when it is lightly weathered.
Oh, and Joe Airtime, that Hello Kitty locomotive is BEAST!

The BR E4 class in diorhea brown and the BR E2 Class in **** brown are the worst paint schemes ever...

Just, look
