World of Subways?

Sorry if this is too off topic...but I saw the promo this week to get this game for like $29. Was wondering if my system will handle that game like it does TRS12? I dont have the graphics card and wasnt sure if it was more resource demanding than TRS12. Couldnt find a forum anywhere. Anyone have this game? And if thats not asking too much :-) wondering if vol 3 gives you new york and berlin?

thanks!

I have volumes 1 and 2, and both of them work fine on my system. My system is hardly a state of the art system, 4 core Intel chip at 2.4mhz, 4 Gigs RAM, and a 1gig graphics card if I recall. TS12 with some routes does tend to slow to a point where you can sense the frame rates, but World of Subways doesn't do that.

I have 1 and 2 and I agree they are just as demanding.

I found the simulation to be boring though. There's not much action on the routes, or not as much as you'd expect to see. It's pretty though.

Volume 3 is the Circle Line (&Hammersmith and City) only, you don't get the first two WOS with it.

Not bad graphically and soundwise but the tunnels don't look quite like the real Underground and the physics are way off. People have reported releasing the brakes on a downhill grade and the train rolling back uphill!

The strongest point of the WOS series is that when you reach the end of a run you can allocate your train to the next outbound departure and work a full driver's shift if you like!

That rolling backwards was fixed with an update I believe. Mine does not do that.

so far not very impressed. havent gotten past the challenging navigation with the mouse. wow. i'll still tinker with it but maybe I'm just spoiled by TRZ!! (i thought this was an auran product so didnt question buying it too much).
