I belive you have to click on the ?. then a window will appear and then it will give you some options. you can name the location (such as Chatham HBD/DED/HCD.) then it give you the mile post location (fill in the blank just like when you load cars) after that, it give you track number-if single track I use 0. then it asks for detection rate-low/med/high. i always set mine on low, when you have a 7000 ton train most of the time it will give you a defect reading then which axil and north or south side, just like the real thing..
