WM and BO Mega Route Tane version.

It is on the DLS, a UTC model, if you use the Download Station you need to tick the UTC button in your search.

Mohaka Viaduct Bridge,<kuid2:60238:38191:1>

It is also built in to TS12.

Ian

The DLS only has the <kuid:60238:38191> version, unless there is a version invisible at the web interface of the DLS. The builtin version of TS12 is the same one.

Peter

The original Mohaka Viaduct bridge (<kuid:60238:38191>) is on the DLS with all boxes ticked, but it shows up as "obsolete" in TS12 Build 61388. The updated version (<kuid2:60238:38191:1>) is built in in TS12 Build 61388, and is not available on the DLS. As I stated before, it works in TS12, but if you attempt to install it in T:ane, only the track shows. The superstructure is missing, even though it doesn't show as faulty in T:ane's Content Manger.

Since it is built in in TS12, you can open it for edit and import it into T:ane. If you don't have TS12, you can temporarily install a section of track to run consists on the Cumberland to Connellsville, and the WM & B&O Mega Route, until this issue is resolved.

I used the viaduct on the original Cumberland to Connellsville because it closely resembles the prototype Western Maryland's Salisbury Viaduct at Meyersdale PA. I also used it on the Murrysville & Western which is available in T:ane.

Can't the asset be opened for edit. Moved to another folder and the kuid changed.

Delete the original in T:ANE and installed from the folder. Have faked faulty assets that way by changing the kuid in a similar asset.

Hi Guys,

Peter is correct the old kuid1 model is on the DLS, I don't recall updating to the kuid 2 version, the model was made for Sir Gibby to use in Murchison.

I have found my original model and placed it in Tane:

If you want to try it, download it from my website:

Hello Ian

It is strange, I downloaded the bridge from your website and in the preview in TANE Build 76401 I only see the track, as with the x:x:1-Version.

Edit: After changing the height of the spline point I see the complete structure. :)

The original Mohaka Viaduct (<kuid:60238:38191> works in TS2010, but shows as obsolete in TS12 and T:ane. The updated version (<kuid2:60238:38191:1>) is built in in TS12, and appears with the superstructure. If you import it from TS12 to T:ane, (Afaik this is the only way to acquire it.) the superstructure disappears and only the track shows. Since Ian didn't upgrade to the kuid2 version, I have to assume that someone at N3V, (or someone authorized by N3V) did the upgrade.

I tried Swordfish's idea in T:ane, but I couldn't get the superstructure to appear.

I have a workaround:
Copy at first the version of the viaduct, you have installed in T:ANE, to a safe place.
Delete the version of the viaduct, you have installed in T:ANE.
Download the version from the homepage of Vulcan and install it in T:ANE
Open the viaduct for editing.
Open the editing-folder and copy the folder with the viaduct to the desktop.
Delete the opened viaduct in T:ANE
Replace in the config.txt of the folder on the desktop the kuid:60238:38191 by the kuid2:60238:38191:1
Import the viaduct from the desktop to T:ANE.
Done.:)

Swordfish that worked great! Thank you! My Murrysville & Western are now complete along with the other Glenwood Shops routes that needed it.

Joe your routes are awesome! I have only had TANE since May and finding yours and Phil's and a few other guy's routes made my day. Thanks for your hard work. No problem, RJArtim

You are welcome.

Running your routes in T:ANE is a real pleasure, thank you very much, Joe, for them!

I decided to use the "Bridge Stone Pole 1t" instead. I think it is built into T:ANE. Had to adjust the highway and the B&O track a bit.

Thanks Swordfish

That worked fine. I used that method to convert the Hinton route, however, I completely forgot about it. Glad that you're enjoying the routes.

When will Harpers Ferry to Baltimore be available? Looking forward to that one to run Chessie Steam Special and Safety Express on it. You're not going to have the B&O Philly sub or Washington, DC main? I guess I could add those on with my own DEM. I have a blank DEM route from Philly to Wash DC by fishlips. Both CSS and CSE had several departures from Baltimore during their runs. I have the trainsets by K&L Trainz.

It's going to be about a year before it's complete and ready to be released. Up 'til two months ago, I hadn't worked on the route for about a year. I spent that period of time creating the Gorre & Daphetid and the Murrysville & Western routes, and getting my other routes working in T:ane.

If you check out the Greater Baltimore map on the route page, you'll see the extent of the PRR and B&O lines east and west of the City. You could probably merge Fishlip's DEM with the route, but it would require deleting a lot of baseboards.

Hi Tony,

Check that the asset is not open for edit or faulty. That can cause that problem.
