Been working on my `Route` for about 8 years on Desk Top PCs and have been given an Apple `iMac` is it possible to transfer my layout on the the iMac , i was thinking If i bought the `Mac` version of Trains 2012 EE I might be able to just copy the lot over is this correct as i don't want to have to start all over again and loose 100s of hours and years of work

Hello,

What Trainz version was the route started in? TS:Mac I think only supports TS2010 content, not TS12, so if you made your route in TS12 you'll have to either continue with your current computer or run Windows in Boot Camp on the Macintosh and install TS12 onto that.

I won't get into the nitty-gritty of if iMacs are good for games or not, that can be someone else's job.

I first started my layout /route using `Trainz 2004 ! The next question I have is Is it possible to purchase a Boxed / Hard Copy of Trainz 2012 for a iMac because I`d rather have a DVD rather than having to download a copy via Auran Games each time I want to install it , every few month`s I do a complete re-format of my PC when it starts to go slow and its easy with the boxed copy of Trainz to re-install otherwise I would have to wait hours for the download on a slow connection !.
The other option would be to burn the digital downloaded copy if that's possible ????

As I understand it, Mac Trainz is TS12 code compatible, with TS10 content.
