Win 10 Upgrade and Graphics card problem

I have a second 'hack' machine and thought about setting it up with quiet drives to download Win 10 files at night. The original graphics card was ruled out as incompatible by the upgrade checker so I replaced it with one from my other machine which I know is compatible. My problem is that the Win 10 upgrader still refers to the original card. The drivers for the older card are gone and new drivers downloaded and installed.

Device Manager sees the new card. I have looked for the $Windows files, they can't be found nor the GSW so there seems to be no way to delete and start again. Google can't help.

I would appreciate advice on how to proceed. Thanks in advance.

I think I found the answer. Apparently the method is to bypass the Win upgrade app by using the Media creation tool.
