Why dont my content despatcher work?

Hi

When i try to download stuff i keep getting the awfull dreaded "Content Despacther has encountered a problem and needs to close. Send/Don't Send".

Any help mostly appreciated.

Open up the folder where Trainz is installed. -

c:\program files\Auran\Ts2006.

Delete the Assets.tdx file.

Restart Trainz or start Content Manager

The database file will be rebuilt. This can take some time so do something else away from your computer.

When done, CMP will work fine.

Hi again

I now have a another problem when I put my details in on the settings tab on CMP it says checking password and username details. Then I get a message saying "Cannot find your profile or you do not have a valid serial number. Please check your Planet Auran Profile details are correct and entered into your CMP settings correctly."

even though i do have a valid serial number and the game was given as a gift to me i have entered my details into the CMP correctly as well how would i fix it?

That seems to be quite a problem lately - even I've had it happen a few times.

You will also need to check that your details are correct in the Options box (click Options on the launcher) - also tick the 'Always Online' box unless you are using dial-up.

As an aside, if you are using Win Vista/7, make sure you are running Trainz as admin.

We did have some down time a few days ago. If it still doesn,t work, try options and enter your password \/ logon details again and save. If this doesn,t work, go into your profile(auran site) and change password details. Save the same if you want. This should reestablish your connection. Failing that, a ticket is next. After that,, I don,t know.

Hello again

Problem solved what i did was put in the FTP password into the CMP user details pressed saved and then it worked to my suprise
