i am only getting speeds of 10-13 kb per second with first class ticket
why cant i download at decent speed on dowload station or ftp

Unfortunately, this seems to be a problem for some but not for others.
I get 35 - 45 Kb/sec, so a little better than yourself but I have never seen an explanation for it.
Others have reported speeds of 250 Kb/sec plus.
All other broadband services are at 2 -3 Mb/sec from my ISP.

i get a speed of 6mbits on my isp but trains ftp seems very slow

I have refreshed your account, and you should now see full download speeds again. In future, if you are having issues with downloading with an FCT, I would suggest contacting the helpdesk, as we will then be able to check into it for you (we do miss posts on the forums
