I just got TS2010EE for Christmas. It's build 42203, which appears from the list of builds I see on the hot patch messages to be quite out of date. I don't know which patch(es) I need and where to get them. Pls help me out here. Thx, folks.
As for figuring out what you need, not that complicated. You have 42203, latest stable build is 49933. No direct patch from 42203 to 49933, so the shortest way to get there is download and install Build 42203 -> 44088 then Build 44088 -> 49933. I would advise following the suggestion about cleaning out your temp folder, in addition to that empty your recycle bin, defrag your hard drive and copy the TS2010 folder to a backup so you don't have to reinstall if one of the patches fails. First one will appear to freeze halfway, leave it alone since it's actually verifying files for an hour or so with the progress bar stopped. Takes a few hours so best to run the first patch overnight.
