Where's the leaves?

Why do so many trees in the game content, plus whatever I download not have leaves. I just spent almost three hours downloading what looked like a beautiful maple made by a guy who calls himself pawpo (popo) or something like that. I popped it on my layout and all I got was bare limbs. So, what gives?

Change the season to spring or summer months.

Its annoying I know, to me the speedtrees dont look good at all in the winter season but Fran is right, change the month in the environment settings from the drop down menu.

In the winter months the trees look horrible, all spiky and thick and far too angular. We all know what trees look like in the winter, and this is one of the great downfalls of Speedtrees. Now, I haven't seen them all, so there may be some that are better than others.

Never mind, you could always grab some Romanian assets and have a Dracula theme. They wouldn't look out of place surrounding the castle.
They are gruesome in the winter.
