Where is BNSF Hi-Line MP 1217.5?

Does anyone know the actual location of MP 1217.5 on the BNSF Hi-Line/Kootenai River Subdivisions at Whitefish, MT? I’m working with the Marias Pass route and extending it westward to beyond the South (west) portal of the Flathead Tunnel. The Hi-Line Sub ends and the Kootenai Sub begins at MP 1217.5 at Whitefish. Where exactly is this MP located? I thought it was at the Whitefish Depot but now think it is further to the east. The MPs placed on the Marias Pass route show it to be well to the east of the depot. But, I’m not sure how accurate their placement was. A chart of NP and BNSF MPs show different MP locations from Coram westward. NP listed Whitefish as MP 1219.2 and BNSF shows 1217.5 for the same location. I understand how this may have happened, but just where is the current 1217.5 MP located, either by grid coordinates or in relation to the location of the Whitefish Depot. Any knowledgeable assistance would be appreciated.

I did some quick research on the subject, and gather that it is placed East of the Whitefish yard, but do not have exact coordinates for you. The difference between the BN and NP measures is well known, but everything I have read indicates that 1217.5 is East of Whitefish Yard, placing the yard in the Kootenai Sub.
