where can one get ships for trainz?

Hi guys!

I'm trying to recreate a rail going through and around a military naval base and a big ship construction yard and I'm not satisfied by the range of ships and boats available with Trainz 12. Anyone know a any websites dedicated to army/navy specific content?

Or if there's anything available on the DLS, what keywords should I be using?

Check out the DLS for creator username advance, or under his kuid 102657.He has made several submarines and three nice versions of HMAS Ambush, plus several wharfs which you might find useful for your dockland area.

That site gave me a nerdgasm Besides ships, it also has cannons, bunkers and vehicles. The HMAS Ambush will come in useful but I don't have a need for submarines. The only one our navy has is stationed in Constanta with no budget to operate for over 20 years now. If a war started we'd be better off putting it on a catapult and throwing it at the enemy.

Also, Ship Simulator is boring. it doesn't have trains

Regarding the threads, I stumbled across some via google but they were all archived, and went back as far as 2006.

A gal from the UK with the username of Angelah had a lengthy thread on a destroyer she was doing but I don't know for certain that it was for use in Trainz. The thread ran through last May (2013), and ran to nearly 500 replies, though not all of them related to the destroyer. Angelah has not been as active on the forums recently as she once was, and her last post was about a month ago.
