Where can I find some freeware Chinese steam?

I'm looking for free models of China's iconic QJ 2-10-2's, SY 2-8-2's and JS 2-8-2's. Does anyone know where I can find some?

See my Post #49 here:

The link to my Dropbox file for the T:ANE version is:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/8y0rqpm9ewunv6y/CHN Loco QianJin #2005 TANE.cdp?dl=0

Be advised that this is the MSTS locomotive ported across to Trainz, so it's not of the very highest detail.

I've got that. I'm mainly wondering where I can find some free models of the SY (Shang You) 2-8-2 and JS (Jian She) 2-8-2. I also made a new enginespec for the QJ and I'm trying to find a whistle and bell to use for it.

Hi philskene
I did find this site with SY & JS Chinese steam locos/tenders - however I think most are reskins from US locos and some have the minus auran kuid numbers, so be cautious when putting them into trainz (I did clones on most to avoid any kuid issue).

I just checked that website and yes, they are simply reskins, mostly of steam locomotives found on Subpar Productions.

Thanks for the links in the post above. Unfortunately after going to both pages I have no idea what to do next.

You have to register first, before getting access to the downloads. A translator in the browser could help.

I tried signing up the the Chinese site years ago (without success) it appears even more difficult to register on and use the site now. Shame our Chinese friends cannot create a universal other languages page.
From what I have seen there appears to be some really unique Chinese assets and routes on the site

Checked the 'Contact' website. It's run by a certain person named 'William Vu'. Sounds like another one of Billvu's aliases. And here's what the 'About' section says:
EVERY RESKIN ON THIS WEBSITE HAS BEEN UPLOADED WITH PERMISSION FROM ORIGINAL OWNER'S Do Not Copy/Redistribute ANY OF THIS CONTENT

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion about the translator. I installed it. I still can't work out what to do next though.

Would be possible for someone who has actually managed to download a steam locomotive or two to share them on, for example, DropBox?

Phil

Yes, I really want the SY for the New Haven one at Essex, CT and the Susquehanna #142 at Phillipsburg, NJ. I gave up on the Chinese site. There was a guy on Youtube that made a mod of it into the New Haven one on Valley Railroad at Essex, CT but his site is down. The #142 was originally at Essex before Susquehanna bought it and then the NYSWTHS bought it outright after moving it to Phillipsburg, NJ. It's the closest operating steam locomotive to me besides the RBMN #425. I managed to register on the site and tried the links above and they worked. I can reskin the loco the way I want and use a different tender like the one by Ben Neal from the NYC 0-8-0. Google has an option to translate a foreign language site to English. It works somewhat.

Can confirm that the reskins jordon412 is referring to are BillVu work, and know at least one of them was released without permission. And, from memory, the end of the about is even spelt as auren on the site.

I want the SY with a more accurate tender but that one is on pan baidu which you need to register to download and you have to register on the overseas page because it requires a phone number and only that page will accept a US phone number but it won't let me past the send code to phone, it gives an error message which said wait 24 hours or something.
