Where can I find a power station?

Davie_UCF

Here since 2001, Trainz!!
I can't seem to find a power station on TC3 and on DLS all I found was Battersea power station which I think may be rather big!

Anyone know of a power station I can use in TC3? on DLS or anywhere.

Many thanks!
David

Hello David,

There wasn't a built-in Power Station on TC3 as there weren't any on the Settle & Carlisle line, to my knowledge, within the era that the Trainz version was built.....Best suggestion I can give you is to build your own from bits off the DLS. Search for Cooling Tower and Power Station and you'll get quite a few different assets to make a good replica of one that'll fit in anywhere on your map.....

I, myself like one called "PowerhouseNS" by dalliance.(<kuid:69605:103>) It's not as modern as the others and is Industry Enabled.

It has no ramps, but I used "Sidewalk2"(<52519:37502>) with rail only track and sunk a wall on both sides to hide the space under the sidewalk.

I run '06, and it works fine.

That one looks near perfect for my route! Not too modern!

Thanks!

Edit: I can't appear to find it on the DLS.. have you got a link?

I thought I had found it on the DLS, but I could be mistaken. What you might try is go to the download station and check all trainz versions, then try again. If that doesn't work for you, then you will have to send a message to dalliance. I would share mine, but I believe that might be stepping on toes and I prefer not to do that. Best of luck, let us know how it goes, Ralph

Thank you much for the correction.

That is rather good!
Whats the wall you're using to keep it all up? retainer wall kinda thing?
My powerstation is up a bit like that, looks strange sitting on the grass from the ole retainer walls..

Like the bridge too.. I seem a bit behind on this good content..

Cheers:)
David

The retainer wall and the bridge are under my name on the DLS. Designed to fall into the 2009 standards with normal and specular maps but will show in 2004 upwards. I'll probably continue to expand the range, already need to make a a version of the bridge with separate supports so It can be used easily on diagonal crossings.

Thanks Rob!

Upgraded my retaining walls with yours and already looks much better.. I'm having trouble finding the bridge versions though.. I may not have downloaded them by accident!

I'm a fool.. I was looking in the splines not under track ;)

David :)
