My stepdad is in Dallas right now, and he sent me some pictures of the Tarantula train, whose steam star, Tarantula, (uughhh! ok, PUFFY) we all know has had trouble with her left Cylinder recently.
But what really surprised me was this: a shot the the tender, with more than a bit of faded paint, pushed on a side track off the turntable.
Did something ELSE happen to this poor old girl, or is she just down for winter mantainence? These are failry recent, and if her tender is pushed up off the turntable, then what's going on?
Hopefully its just winter work, or they'll finally fix what's wrong with her Cylinder for good. The poor girl has suffered enough.
