Whats new!

I have not had trainz installed for almost two years now! I was never very involved in the community (I hope to change that this time around ), but at least back then I kept up with the latest in trainz developments! You see, last week I found my old Raildriver, one thing led to another, and here I am today with a fresh install of TS2010 and no idea what 3rd party content to install first! So, my question to the community: Whats new?!?

- Any big american steamers released recently? I remember there were a few very promising projects underway when I ditched.
- Are cowboy's 9000s 2010 compatible yet??
- Have they released the ts2010 drivers for RailDriver yet? I don't recall them releasing any.
- Any "Must Downloads"? Is maddy's YARN road system still around?

And other than that, just any recent news I might need to know. I know I could probably find all this out on my own, but since it has been so long I still feel like I would miss alot.

I can't answer your other questions, but, yes, SP2 can take hours and hours to install.

i can say that yes, maddy's roads are still around, look up yarn on the dls and it will bring that up, and i would try jointedrails freeware and payware engines along with rrmods freeware and payware. http://jointedrail.com and http://rrmods.com
and look up atls, thats a road system so the cars dont go through the trainz

Well, Trainz Italia has some large UP steamers.

Jointed Rail has some great F units and signals
Obo's Trainz Cataloguge has heaps of links to Trainz websites (It also shows locos).

The are some good 50's UP locos on the DLS (F units, FA, PA, 8,500 HP Gas turbines, E units etc...)

Thanks all, I'll check those out! Anyone got any idea about raildriver?? Will the TS2009 drivers work??
