What's a .gs file? What's this error and why is it showing?

Hello,

A .gs file is a script file.

I'd get you my config for my fixed version of this loco but I'm unable to start Trainz at the moment.

@Blackwatch: The loco is available from here: http://www31.brinkster.com/decapod/
It's J94-NCB5.zip that you need to download

Correction:

.gs - plain script file. The program I normally use for this is ConTEXT.
.gsl - compiled script file.
.gse - encrypted script file.

Shane

EDIT: Regarding the OP's problem, I would suggest reinstating the tags and seeing if that helps, otherwise it's one for the creator of the asset (as it's harder to accurately fix script errors on Mac OS).

Where did I say I wanted it ?
I asked for the kuid number because, if I had it in my CM & could then have posted my working config. file for
the OP to check his against. :o

You didn't say you wanted it, I just thought that downloading it would be a surefire way to see if you had it. :)

I would have given the kuid or my config but i can't open Content Manager.

Sorry to bump in with a question, but whats a program to open and edit scripts with?

You can easily open and view scripts for editing in Content Manager. Select an asset, right click, select edit and then click on 'edit scripts'.

Cheers

The problem with the script file that CM is complaining about is that "False" should be "false", with oa lower-case "f". Making thr "f" lower-case should fix that problem, although I can't guarantee that new problems won't emerge as a result.
