'Cannot be committed because config.txt contains the wrong KUID'

Firstly, thanks to those who told me how to use the config file to mend faulty assets- I've managed to sort out loads of faulty assets.

However, I've come up against a problem I can't sort myself- please see screenshot.

Is there a simple way to sort this? It's from the BR/LMS Stove Van interior. If you need a shot of the config file I can do that!

Just don't change the kuid number of an asset that is open for edit.

Paul, as far as I'm aware, I didn't (intentionally, at least).

BLACKWATCH - you need to edit your post ASAP and remove that email address. The user who's email it is will not be happy if they get spam because of you posting it.

Oops, thanks for that Shane, it never crossed my mind about the email being there. now removed.

No problem. I know that some creators are very picky over where their email is posted.

The same thing happened to me just now I added on a whistle to the Baldwin 2-10-0 and it said faulty so I did open with the PM2.IM and this came up: Error: Unable to commit changes to asset <kuid:560450:100506> as the config file contains the wrong KUID and here are some more of the errors: Error: Required tag 'kind' is not present. Ensure this is a valid config file.
and also even those I had changed the whistle on this engine it clearly says "compatible with TRS12"but I still got this: Error: Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.9 are no longer supported.
