I am not sure why I have to have a different password for each and every section of Trainz.... I have bought First Class Tickets for access and downloading. To access and apply the ticket it sends me to a page where I can buy all the first class tickets I want. NOT A SINGLE sentence on how to activate it.
In the meantime I am unable to download anything at all, even when signed in.

The Trainz Discussion FORUM page has one user name and password.(only mentions buying first class tickets)
The Trainz Download station has another user password (only mentions buying first class tickets)
Planet Auran has still diff user password (only mentions buying first class tickets)

Am I STILL missing something?
 
OK - first you gotta register your serial number, because without doing that there is no way to prove you have a legit copy of the sim, but wait - don't go yet!

At the top of the forum page is a button for 'Planet Auran'. Click it and on the left-hand menu of the new page go to 'Serial Number' and register your copy.

While you are at Planet Auran on the same menu is 'Download Tickets' - that's where you go to activate your ticket.

Not sure why you feel the need for different p'words, just one will take you everywhere and keep you logged in...

I think you can't buy a first class ticket if you don't have a serial number, at all.
 
If you change your more than the once allowed, you will mess up your account.

The same UN, PW, Profile Name, E-Mail address ... everytime ... decade after decade.

Write all that information down on your Trainz DVD box ... and never lose it.

As stated above, the reason you cannot download is that you have no serial numbers registered. This is a requirement to being able to download.

(To others: The link I've posted is my new tutorial on how to register a serial number - the thread can be found in Trainz Community, I feel that this is probably better than users typing the same paragraph over and over again)

It appears that you have got some information mixed up there. The 1-time limit only applies to the username, which can only be changed by requesting the change via the Helpdesk.

Just to add as no one seems to have mentioned this, it is the same username and password for everything related to Trainz.
