What kind of signal?

What kind of signal would be best for an old-style 24in gauge railway and where would I find it? The route is based somewhere in the early nineteen-hundreds during the days of steam and primarily hauls silver ore. I was thinking maybe highball signals but the only ones can find are for switches, not as signals.

Well, i'd say one of those old fashoned semaphor signals or whatever they are called. They are probably on the DLS.

Also, since not all railways were signaled, especially shorter ones, you could use invisible signals if the ones available look out of place. But if you're going to use AI you will need some kind of signals, visible or not.
