"Unknown Location" means that the asset(s) are not installed on your system and are not on the DLS. They (the missing items) could be part of a DLC package or from a 3rd party web site.
I have Trainz Plus but the content manager is very similar (if not the same) as T:ANE.
Doing a search for "NP F7" reveals two different assets:-

both were on the DLS so I downloaded and installed both. Selecting both assets after downloading and "List Dependencies" from the pop up menu revealed ...

<kuid:-25:1005> F7 Interior MPH RHD
<kuid:-25:175> QR2100
Two of those, highlighted in bold, are shown as "Packaged" on my system - which means that they are part of a DLC package BUT should still be found on the DLS. DLS items often appear in DLC packages.
What are the <kuid>s of the assets that are shown as "unknown location"?
