What dod you get for X-Mas

So we start..!

So we start the thread with an argument about the name of the festivities, I think we have all lost out way here.
Maybe it would be better to say what you gave rather than what was received.
The nicest post was about a fellas love from his young lady, love is the greatest gift in the world and from what I see on here at times it seems that tends to be forgotten.
I gave a young man Trainz, so maybe we will have a new member soon in the new year. I am also paying for a new machine for me relative who is a shoemaker to help speed up his business and for his partner a pair of power shears to help her in making re-enactment uniforms.
I gave them all the love I could of course, they they gave the same to me and I treasure that.
Can we not turn over a new leaf on here and be kinder towards each other as kindness is alaso a great gift and that can be given all the year round and it costs nothing, apart maybe from a little humility.

So enjoy each other and the time of year, whatever you wish to call it, the event amounts to the same thing.
In the New Year cannot we all make the effort to be more polite and helpful, that would be a wonderful gift for the whole community.

Bless you all,

Angela

I got my big wish!!

Family time, for first time ever as far as I can recall back, we had a lovely little family dinner, dad, my brother, me, my sister - it was peaceful, after the initial awkwardness and silence that happens when family who really don't know each other to well is in the same room trying to figure out what shall we say next. :)

I got my wish, I asked my little sister if she would come and after quite big pushing my dad asked her as well straight out, and, she called two days later and came, best present ever!!!

No mom to scare us off, I love her, but mom was mom, RIP...
As felt earlier this year, it was a year to remember, and a Christmas to remember for ever, family is important, spend time with the ones you have, one day you no longer have the opportunity, cherish the time. :)

Take care all my friends and others out there in the world, western Norway has a "small wind" blowing around our houses and homes, hopefully tomorrow will bring news of not to much damages, we are safe and I hope all others are safe too!

Best wishes

Linda

Linda,

Those are the best presents. I got the same kind of gift. My cousin and friend and uncle and friend came over. My mom is not well, so my brother did the cooking, although she made some cookies (yum). We had a great visit.

These are the gifts we cherish, and as I said before if I want to give something to someone, I do it all year rather during a mad rush because you have to a certain time of year.
